 Hi Friends, I am back, though this time I took a rather long break, well, the main reason is  Mr. A.R.RAHMAN.

About 3 weeks ago, negotiations began again about his North America tour to restart from 11^th Sept onwards; and on RAHMAN SIR’s ( This is how he is addressed by his colleagues etc.) insistence, he simply HAD TO PERFORM IN BOSTON. This bit of information was given to me by the local promoter Bharat Patel himself. It seems RAHMAN SIR has been continuously receiving emails from his innumerable fans here and he absolutely wanted to perform for them.

So the date was fixed SEPTEMBER 22^ND which is a Wednesday @ 7.30pm, Our regular arena Tsongas in Lowell was not available so we chose DCU center in Worcester. As the capacity of DCU is larger we could make the ticket prices more affordable for our patrons.

There are a lot of firsts in this MEGA CONCERT.

First of all, this is THIS IS THE BIGGEST, THE MOST EXPENSIVE, THE MOST EXTRAVAGANT CONCERT TO HAVE EVER COME TO BOSTON. A concert of this MAGNITUDE has never made it to a secondary market (spoken in commercial terms) like Boston.

Also for the first time, a BIG CONCERT is coming on a week night whereas usually we have concerts on a Friday or Sundays and satudays being hogged by larger centers like Chicago, NY or Toronto. Available dates were very limited as RAHMAN Sir has to get back pronto to perform at the opening night in commonwealth games in Delhi.

This is also the first time that the entire troupe will be traveling by road along with their musical instruments, stage props etc. just like the MAINSTREAM ARTISTES DO IN AMERICA.

For the first time the stage will have multi-levels and big percent of the team (production, logistics, choreographer, costume designers dancers etc.) will be American professionals.

The response is GREAT so far but  to bring shows like this on a regular basis; the SUCCESS of this concert is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. The KEY to that SUCCESS is in YOUR HANDS (“ticket sales are always lagging anxiety levels of the promoter”!). If you make it a point to SUPPORT this event, you can be assured that you will be able to enjoy such lovely live concerts in your very own city. We know it is Wednesday and next day is a working day, but ARR does not come in very often to our area.

RAHMAN SIR is accompanied by amazing singers like HARIHARAN, JAVED ALI, BLAZE, BENNY DAYAL, SHWETA PANDIT & NEETI MOHAN.

They are not just singers; they are SUPER  STAGE PERFORMERS who are rearing to take your breath away with their SCINTILATING PERFORMANCE. You can learn more about just Google them!

Last but not the least, this is the very first time that A BANNER OF AN INDIAN CONCERT IS BEING DISPLAYED ON ROUTE 93 S around exit 36 electronic board.
