Hello again Friends.
All right! I plead guilty that I am LAZY (I hope you noticed the use of the capital letters)
Actually, it’s not really my fault. It’s the heat, this season, which is making most of us lethargic. Am I right, or is it the natural human phenomenon within me, to pass on the blame?
Ok. Let me first start from where I left. I did see I HATE LOVE STORIES and despite the fact that as expected it was a love story (which generally I love) I didn’t really like the film. It was kind of flat, despite the lovely and talented heroine SONAM KAPOOR and the handsome IMRAN KHAN. If only Imran’s talent could match up his wow looks. I wouldn’t go as far as the famous critic SHOBHA DE who felt like spanking the debutante director PUNIT MALHOTRA; but yes after the massive publicity and the really attractive promos, when I saw the film, I felt as if ‘Khoda pahad nikli chuhia’ This proverb means, to be let down about something after a huge anticipation.
So that’s that! But surprisingly, the movie is a commercial hit.
Last Friday, I saw LAMHAA, a very realistic film about Kashmir, directed by the National award winner Rahul Dholakia.
On Sunday I was invited to a 4 year old’s birthday celebration. She was dressed like a fairy in a long pink dress complete with a silver Tiara and looked adorable. Her young mom too dressed in a pink churidar outfit. When the birthday girl saw her mom getting ready, she quipped “Mom, you are looking nice but don’t forget, today is MY birthday”
Really, the children are so pure. There is no beating around the bush. They straight come to the point.
These days I am reading a book ‘Two States—the story of my marriage” by Chetan Bhagat. I am sure most of you have already read the book; but if you haven’t, then try and grab a copy. It’s an absolute realist humor, perhaps because the book is autobiographical.
In winter, I eat too much because I get depressed with the short days; and in summer, again I am eating too much because the days are SO LONG and either I get hungry or I eat for time pass.
To compensate for my food adventures, I am walking about 3 miles per day. It may not melt away those calories but it certainly elevates my mood. Your response too does the same---that is, elevating my mood. So please do give me your feedback.
Now, this weekend I shall see AKSHAY KUMAR starrer comedy film KHATTA MEETHA. I hope to have a good time.
More in next. Till then stay healthy and happy.
